Band Description

Original guitar instrumentals written by Guthrie Trapp. A blend of many musical influences create Guthrie's unique sound with great melodies, exciting soloing and deep grooves. One of Nashville's finest players.
Jerry Douglas-"If I were to explain Guthrie Trapp to you, you wouldn’t understand him. He is a freak of nature known to those who excel in music as THE GUY to watch in the next few years. He’s a force ready to be reckoned with".

John Oates- “I first heard Guthrie play guitar many years ago at the Telluride Bluegrass festival and was blown away… since then we’ve become friends and bandmates, and I’m still blown away. He is without a doubt one of the greatest soloist I’ve ever heard, fluid, technical, inventive and soulful. Guthrie is the kind of guitarist that makes other players go home and want to either burn their axe or practice real hard.”

Vince Gill- “I first got to know Guthrie’s talents when he was playing with Patty Loveless and realized right away that he had that ‘thing’. Guthrie is one of those guys who can play anything you put in front of him.”

Mike Gordon (Phish)- "Clearly Guthrie is one of the Nashville greats, and when he played with my band he had a sound and a flow that propelled the whole thing into a beautiful whirlwind of country funkiness!"
